President, High Point University
Jonathan Sprinkles is irrationally passionate about helping young people experience the life-changing benefits of education, professional development, and having a mentor in their corner who believes in them. Jonathan is especially fond of programs that foster tangible outcomes that create a turning point in the direction of students’ lives.
“At every major turning point in my life, I have been blessed to have someone take a personal interest in me, invest time talking to me, and help me see things I never knew were possible at the time,” Jonathan candidly shares.
“I am convinced that I am who I am today because of the many angels in disguise who helped me along my path.”
Jonathan’s life has fueled his fire to share his “keeping it real” lessons about the real truth behind failing and succeeding with up-and-coming achievers. He is often invited by organizations to share his story and success strategies.
Jonathan is on a crusade to help young people overcome their setbacks and turn “students” into “graduates.”
Here is a partial list of organizations that have recently invited Jonathan to partner with their event(s):
Every year, Jonathan invites current students from his alma mater, The University of Texas at Austin (Hook ‘Em), into his home to personally mentor and train them in a three-day intensive on how to become elite student leaders on campus. The Ex 2 Next Leadership Retreat was formed from a need to bridge a gaping hole between the many successful UT alumni who want to meet and mentor current undergraduates.
The goal of the retreat is for the students to receive:
EXposure to ideas for linking their major to career choices,
EXperience with real-world case studies, and create new
EXpectations for their futures by seeing examples of what they can become if they apply themselves.
